I am **Wolfgang Betz**, the creator of *Fesslix*. 
I studied structural engineering and computational mechanics and received my PhD from the [Engineering Risk Analysis Group](https://www.cee.ed.tum.de/era/era-group/) of *Prof. Straub* at [TU München](https://www.tum.de).
My areas of expertise are assessing the reliability of structural and technical systems, Bayesian inference and probabilistic modeling.
