About the Author#

Wolfgang Betz

I am Wolfgang Betz, the creator of Fesslix. I studied structural engineering and computational mechanics and received my PhD from the Engineering Risk Analysis Group of Prof. Straub at TU München. My areas of expertise are assessing the reliability of structural and technical systems, Bayesian inference and probabilistic modeling.
